This is a poem about my time working in a writing studio in Marfa, Texas. Marfa is one of those thin places for creatives that was hard for me to leave. And in another way, I’ve never left this place. The poem is in wonderful literary company in the current issue of BoomerLitMag. Check it out: https://boomerlitmag.com/king-grossman/
King Reads at Agents of Change in Santa Cruz, CA
Poets submitted ekphrastic pieces, and then read them in conjunction with the art that inspired them. Big fun, powerful art for social and personal change.
Whistling Shade to publish my poem “Unconfined”
This epigram has found a magnificent home! To make peace with living and dying, to make it one and the same wonder.

This poem of remembrances from upbringing that follow me through life is in good company with the fine journal of Sinclair Community College. Check out the artwork for the 2020 issue.
Saint Katherine Review to publish my poem “We Are Stardust Meant To Shine”
This is a poem about transcendence with humor, and so, for it to find a home at the spiritually imbued Saint Katherine Review is, well, nothing short of a blessing.
El Portal to Publish King’s poem “Grit Bliss”
This is a piece I penned as the centerpiece for a collection of my poetry with this very title, Grit Bliss. I have much gratitude that it found a home individually in Eastern New Mexico University’s literary journal. Check out the cover art of their most recent edition.
Bear Review To Publish “Unnamable”
This poem is a chimera made real on the page by Bear Review. My work is keeping some wonderful literary company. I’m very grateful to the poetic Bears in those Kansas City coffeehouses.
