THE SLAG REVIEW TO PUBLISH KING’S POEMS “WHAT IT IS ABOUT THIS MATRIMONY” AND “ANCIENT WAYS AMIDST THE HIGHLY DOMESTICATED HARVEST”

You’ve got to love the name and subtitle for this magnificent journal,The Slag Review: a journal of art, literature, and metallurgy. “WHAT IT IS ABOUT THIS MATRIMONY” was inspired—and therefore is literary-soul slag—by the metallurgy of forging the beauty of reality and mysticism in my partnership with the lovely Lisa. With immeasurable gratitude I put to you, dear reader, our life together as Lisa and King abounds with this clarifying evolution of actual and magical intimacy. And for Slag to publish this poem along with the other one, “ANCIENT WAYS AMIDST THE HIGHLY DOMESTICATED HARVEST”, which is the poetic result of an encounter at the grocery store with the archtype of the gypsy, well, okay, wow, here’s the stuff of Jungian projections and then retrieving said projections to find the gypsy in my soul, in my partner Lisa’s soul, indeed, through poetic extensions, in each and every one of our souls. Enjoy these poems as they appear in Slag’s upcoming issue. Here’s some cover art on a recent issue for your current viewing pleasure.
